9 is a fair score. Its as fair as the 6 Jeff Gerstmann put for Kane and Lynch in 2007 :)
GTA V is one of the best games I have played in my gaming career.
That said, according to my standards 9 is a fair score for this game. Anyone who's saying it should get a 10 is actually saying that at present there is absolutely no possible way to make the elements (saying very loosely) of this game any better than it is right now. And since the online community (the likes of Gamespot) has raised my standards by expecting me to always want more from developers, I believe this game isn't absolutely perfect, so yeah.
And yeah, Johnny, don't stop this show. I don't know everything, but I believe the new (maybe not so new anymore) crew in Gamespot do a good job, and this goes out to all of you. And its not just the reviews, its these little shows you guys do. When you make and take things personally it shows that you care. For what its worth, I have been a gamespot member for 9 years. And I truly feel that you create a positive externality to YOUR gaming community as you do in mine. See you next week :)

Credits to the author for pointing out some factors with recent trends in the gaming industry I wasn't consiously aware of. This article hits all the right spots in my book.
@Armysniper89A. I dont mean to offend you, but it is clear you dont understand how this word is used in literature. Homophobia is a socially unacceptable behavior. When someone states : "loved.....rs" He is displaying acts of this socially unacceptable behavior. Its not name calling, simply stating facts. Also, read the article again. He really isn't talking about his choices for a second. Then again, if he did would you be wasting your time reading thin article? You also asked the author not to judge others. However, you are judging the author for introducing an article which challanges your critical faculty. So... going back to what you said, practice what you preach boy.
@Armysniper89A. You dont know what you are talking about. Homophobic is derived from homophobia, which by definition means : Homophobia is a range of negative attitudes and feelings towards homosexuality and people who are identified or perceived as being homosexual. Although the suffix -phobia normally refers to irrational fear, definitions of homophobia have expanded to refer also to antipathy, prejudice, contempt, and aversion, as well as irrational fear.
