I have been thinking about the endings for some time now as I play through for a 3rd time. Part of me does like them with regards to Shepard...however, it flings poo in the face of every player who really wanted to see their choices play out and leave a solid effect on the galaxy and its inhabitants (not simply the effect of your final choice). The series is amazing and your choices profound and meaningful...until the last lets say 10 mins. This sudden abandonment of OUR choices and OUR Shepard's story just seems wrong. Like waking up and seeing the sky is orange and the sun is blue. Or finding out that your entire life, family, marriage, job was all just a crazy dream. Its way too shocking and I understand how a percentage of the ME fans are burning over it. I really love this series and that may be one of the things fueling the fire for players....but I relly hope Bioware creates a free DLC that expands the ending...leave the final choice but expand on what happens to the universe and it inhabitants....I dont wish pain on my LI but I would like to know what happened to them. Cont.

I liked the ending in every way but the lack of closure to the rest of the galaxy (krogan, quarians, geth, mankind, based on my choices). But I think our answers are found in choices we made throughout the game. I have a few ideas so if anyone has confusion send it to my inbox and maybe I can answer it or you can answer mine. What ever happens its still my favorite game series experience of all time. I truly hope Bioware or someone else will create more IPs on par with or better than ME in the near future.

Cant say I care for this article. But thats just MHO. Frankly I like DLC that has meaning to it and not just some pointless stuff. So...I of course got both shadow broker and arrival dlc....then i got ashes cause i bought CE...and I have the whole story....so far. That makes me happy (although my heart still weeps for my legend named Shepard).

romance options have always been optional in every bioware game that I have played (NWN, DA, ME). If you are getting what what in the butt or embracing enternity then its your own damn fault. You have to work to get it. Its not like ordering pizza in a porno.

I was pissed, and for a moment in denial, about DA2. For things like that I think gamers should be angry at developers so that they know they made a bad choice and need to fix it. However, gamers nowadays (I can say that cause I have been a gamer for a little over 2 decades) are primarily a bunch of whiny, self absorbed, egotistical, cynical, Internet tough guys and drama queens (queens not referring simply to female gamers). You can see this often in the way people troll and respond to trolls, much like political wing nuts (where hyperbole is king and facts are the devil). Also in how you constantly see people complain about developers (businesses) not giving away their products. Do these same people complain about paying for clean water? Are they pissed that a Mexican restaurant costs more than eating at Taco Bell? I understand that many gamers are just kids so I give them some leniency but come on. I feel like half of the guys commenting are shortly after yelling to their moms to make them some more Totinos Pizza roles. Its the actions of these people that make gaming look like the industry of fat spoiled brats and grown men looking much like the great Kevin Smith or the guy from "Make Love not Warcraft" SP episode.
