Sorry  I should of been more specific :P, I meant Compare say the RB6 before the summer break and up until now, then maybe once the season is over a comparison from winter testing till Abu dhabi :P
Our Redders has done just that, I dunno where he has got to, But I shall Post up in the first post his calculations of what the old points system would look like if was still the same.
1. Lewis Hamilton (McLaren, 75 pts.)
2. Mark Webber (Red Bull, 74 pts.)
3. Fernando Alonso (Ferrari, 67 pts.)
4. Jenson Button (McLaren, 67 pts.)
5. Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull, 66 pts.)
6. Felipe Massa (Ferrari, 50 pts.)
7. Nico Rosberg (Mercedes, 43 pts.)
8. Robert Kubica (Renault, 42 pts.)
9. Michael Schumacher (Mercedes, 15 pts.)
10. Adrian Sutil (Force India, 15 pts.)
11. Rubens Barrichello (Williams, 10 pts.)
12. Vitaly Petrov (Renault, 6 pts.)
13. Kamui Kobayashi (BMW-Sauber, 6 pts.)
14. Nico Hulkenberg (Williams, 5 pts.)
15. Vitantonio Liuzzi (Force India, 2 pts.)
16. Pedro de la Rosa (BMW-Sauber, 2 pts.)
17. Sebastien Buemi (Toro Rosso, 1 pt.)
So Lewis would be the Championship leader, not Mark
1. McLaren (142 pts.)
2. Red Bull (140 pts.)
3. Ferrari (117 pts.)
4. Mercedes GP (58 pts.)
5. Renault (48 pts.)
6. Force India (17 pts.)
7. Williams (15 pts.)
8. BMW-Sauber (8 pts.)
9. Toro Rosso (1 pt.)
Tis an interesting way to look at it in the old points system.
Credit goes to Redders for working this out.
Yea that does sound like fun a full season of racing, but I agree we should have some warm up races and our own winter testing season as it were :P
I mean, I'll discuss with Redders what we can do in our areas of this and see what we can do.
I like the idea, but whether it would actually work, and it was said before, making sure everyone CAN take part in it :)
