The gamecube could do shaders. In fact, Rogue Leader was already running quite a few shaders in 2001 (on top of models that went from 30000 to 130000 poly's).

The problem is that they are handled a bit different then the shaders that are used in nvidia/ati cards (and the xbox) which means that all the shader code has to be rewritten for the cube.

We have Elvis, Jimmy Hendrix, the 80's Metal/Rock scene, and Bob Dylan. We own.

The_Ish

The beatles, The rolling stones, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen, David Bowie, the Sex Pistols, Depeche Mode, New Order and Radiohead say hi.

And now we're not even talking about electronic music...

To give some credit to America: Jazz and old school hiphop are great.

[QUOTE="Haziqonfire"]Why must you bring up the games that OBVIOUSLY lack in the graphical department.im not saying that the Wii has awesome graphics, everyone knows it doesnt - but to constantly come into threads like this one and post images of games that obviously look bad on the Wii .. shows that you really must be a fanboy. and of course the games like DK Jet, SPM, and LoZ:TP's graphics wont be as good as ground up Wii games, because they are being PORTED from the GC.God, i cant explain it much farther then that. if you dont get it, you dont get it. Dualshockin
Imo,all Wii games lack in the graphical department. But for the sake of having a level argument, what Wii game to you pushes the systems "graphical" abilities, and actually makes the games look good?

Great, comparing bullshots of Metal Gear Solid 3 (higher res, lots of Anti-Aliasing) against crappy screenshots of GC games. Here's a better comparison:

As good as Metal Gear Solid 3 looks, resident evil 4 easilly wins. Both the lighting and the models are way better in Resident Evil 4.

Sweet, what we need to know now is which console it will be on.tegovoltio

It has been announced for the Wii quite a while ago. The only thing known until now though was that it was a project with both Kojima and Suda51 working on it.

3rd party games not selling on a Nintendo console is bull. Red Steel sold great (even though it sucked) and good gamecube games usually sold pretty well. Soul Calibur 2 sold more on the GC then on the PS2 or XBOX. Tales of Symphonia sold better then most other tales games as well. RE4 sold only a bit more on the PS2 then on the GC, even though 4 times as much PS2's had been sold.

[QUOTE="KrunkMastaX"][QUOTE="kipknots"]Jazz isn't as popular as those genres since it isn't anywhere near as easy to listen to. It's much more experimental and rarely follows the same structure. That stuff what you linked to isn't exactly what I would call Jazz and isn't anywhere near as popular since it's boring crap.

Thanx for your opinion. :|

By the way, this seems closer to jazz with beats to me then what you linked: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lq-BPomrsxo
