I've been playing Mercs 2 since Sunday, & although your not the first I've seen complaining about bugs in the game myself I haven't experienced any problems thus far & I wonder how that is so???

Consider yourself lucky. However, I think you'll encounter one or two down the line. Hopefuly it's nothing that will prevent you from enjoying your game.

How do files get corrupted? What can be done to avoid this? I was at 55% progress and am so bitter right now.

Data corruption can happen in so many ways. One good example is when you turn off your console while it's still saving or something accidently hit it really hard it in the middle of saving/loading process. It can also happen just becaause the data itself is bad. Data corruption is unavoidable. All you can do is make sure your game disc are clean and your system itself is well taken cared off. Like away from extreme temperature and water/moisture. Don't download any data you don't know.

my favorite genre is the tactical fps. to me, the mix of strategy and action never gets old. but I am getting a little tired of the typical call of duty style FPS.Ben399

What do you think of the upcoming Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway? I know it's just another WW2 FPS but the tactical stuff should be pretty good.

You don't have to get every game at it's release date. Choose one, play it, finish it, get sickeningly bored with it and then sell it, buy the next game...etcMaqda7
