That's a shame because this is a title that could truly benefit from the Pro.

Atlas... RISE!
I might pick up Boo so my Toad won't feel all alone in the series. I mostly want the three final SSB Amiibos already!
Yeah I like it a lot. Have around 30 retail games for it.
Battlefield 1, easily. Game is awesome.
Had trouble deciding which console version to get, but chose Xbox One because of the mods.
If you're dumb enough to buy a game day one without reading reviews then you deserve to have your money taken from you.
What about being dumb enough to trust reviews? Not many people have faith in their accuracy these days. I guess you're one of the few.
Reviews are a guide. No you shouldn't let anyone make up your mind for you. BUT video games are expensive, and with so many shady practices going on consumers need to know what they're getting before they plunk down sixty dollars. That's no small change for entertainment. You can take a risk on a bad movie or album for less. Not to mention there could be game breaking bugs, and god knows what else waiting for you. I always wait a few months before getting a game. To see what gamers and critics think. I also almost always wait for price drops, because games are expensive and I'm not rich or anything.
But to say to hell with reviews all together, that only helps the suits, not the consumer.
imo they're not even good enough for that. I just don't agree with a large majority of reviews for games I've played. I'll read or watch and be like "what game are they playing?" or "that makes zero sense to me" or "how did they come up with that conclusion?" and so on.
I can see how reviews might be important to those on tight budgets, or are new to gaming and don't know exactly what they like yet, and are willing to take strangers' advice, but not me.
Do you remember a show called X Play? Back in the day I used to follow reviews and take the words of reviewers as the gospel, but after Morgan Webb ripped Tales of the Abyss to pieces I skipped it, and later thought to try it, but couldn't find it at any local stores years later. Then it came out on 3ds and I bought it and loved it. Felt like a complete fool for listening to her nonsense about the game, and haven't paid much attention to them since.
Just read the GS World of Final Fantasy review and am so glad I bought the game and had been playing it already because the way she talks about it, one would think it's a bad game or something, but since I've been playing it, I know better.
I'd say they're more for entertainment than a guide, in my personal opinion.

Reviews are a bad joke anyways. They serve no purpose these days, because they are filled with reviewers' feeeeelings and little else.
