Apparently online (only) games are here to stay...I don't think online games have found the sweet spot yet, I mean, having to have or find friends to play online is a deal break for me and normally those games are time consuming. If you don;t play for a week when you come back to it your friends have already finished the game lol. Let's see what the future brings though.
@lonesamurai1: shame. Hopefully PCars2 will perform better on both consoles. SMS is a much bigger team now (it went from 40 to more than 100 people working on PCars2). They also have a QA company already testing the game during development stages and this will continue throughout the development of the game. Fingers crossed...
@mpl911: On the One. Try that: set up a race with 30 cars (29+you) and time a lap at any track. Then, go to the same track by yourself. Your lap time will be a lot faster when you are alone on track, and this is valid to probably about 20 cars on track. If you go above that the console simply cannot run it properly. In terms of frame rate, try lemans 24rs or Spa with 20+ cars...the pit area of the track will always drop frame rate....when I play on the One I keep the AI up to 17 cars...that does the trick. It is not only a console issue, the game was not optimized and properly tested for the One. Not sure the PS4 version suffers from the same issues.
