The Beta is broken. Sure, it should be fixed before release, but with all the time the developers had to work on this game till now they should be ashamed of themselves considering how far off the mark this beta hits. This game, the way the beta plays, should in no way be ready for store shelves by mid October. People who love Socom are relieved to have their beloved game with third person perspective and tactical action again, and they will look past all the (many) issues with this product for sake of their favorite shooter's reputation. This game has the potential to trump alot of online shooters, but I don't think they can do it in time. Maybe, like RB6V2, after a couple of post-release patches the game will be as enjoyable as Socom2.SnoSlider-PS3-
this guy is right, I am a SOCOM fan and this in no way is a next gen socom, nor will it be by october, that would take no less than a miracle... Even the mgo beta did not change much from the final product..
what are you guys talking about? there is nothing good about the beta.. it was the worst game ive tried for the ps3, and everyone's argument is "its a beta" ya i know its a beta, but the final product wont change much.. there are so many better games out, and this improves on none of them.. try the beta and see for urself
I loved 7 8 and 10.. I didnt really like 12, although I didnt really give it a chance, but I tried to.. I never tried 9 for some reason, I will pick it up tho, is it a true final fantasy? I am a hardcore fan of ff so obviously I should take a stab at it no?
october seems to be the magical month for bc... i guess we will wait and see, i am on the same boat as you, i sold my ps2 and my 60 gig ps3 when I got my limited gun metal ps3
It even comes from a magazine that gave FIFA 08 a 6/10. EA really listened to us fans about improvements

Yes I dislike Arcade style which is why I don't like PES. I prefer realisticness which is why I get FIFA

fifa is commercial, hence its high reviews and big sales, not to mention EA has a monopoly on fifa rights, pro evo is for the true hardcore footballer, and do your research before making claims that pre evo stole fifa's pro mode, pro evo invented that many years ago when it was still on the ps1... fifa is a dumbed down pro evo, and has only been getting higher reviews since trying to be more like pro evo
