I bought a ps3 for it.. but yeah its personal taste, and how much the game means to you, i ve been a fan since i was 10 years old.. so yeah it was for me 1000 dollars for my ps3, and i dont regret it ( i got it at lunch)big_boss4life

Hmmm... so you payed a premium to get your ps3 at launch just for metal gear solid 4 which came out much later than the launch... I guess that makes sense.. but as long as you are happy, cuz I got mine at launch as well and have loved it since

Yes, it is, but on top of that you get a ton of other features as well, my ps3 gets more badass by the day... Im off to get a new key board and mouse so I can start fiddling with Linux... First attempt at the OS but I am confident I will be pleased!!

the 360 has reached its limit, its full potential has been maxed out, and with a 9gb dvd constraint, they have no elbow room to get creative. MGS4 has just begun to explore the resources of the ps3, and with games just getting bigger and bigger, bluray is a good medium to support the high data bandwidth needed.

7200 is better than 5400 in every aspect ( loading game from xmb, installing game to hard drive, loading saved games) however solid state hard drives are only slightly better than the 7200 rpm, but only the expensive solid state performs better.

why did you make three threads on the same topic? just put your ps3 in the dryer and put it on air fluff, it will never heat up again.

No it didnt work, thanks for the advice, damn I was really looking forward to MGS4 this week, right before I came home I fully paid my LE edition of MGS4, but I guess I'll have to wait month thanks for helping guys.scarfacelover

Have you tried turning it off from the power switch in the back and unplugging it for 60 seconds then plug it back in and turn the switch on then hold the power button even after it turns on keep it held for like 40 seconds
