I'm not a computer wiz or anything, but if i were you, I would go to the manufacturers website (whoever made the computer) then look up the exact model and make sure you have all of the updated drivers again, not just graphics drivers.
Then unistall the game completely and reinstall it.
A somewhat out dated RTS(12 years old?), but none the less it is a very good game, especially fun to play with friends on lan. Also, the graphics are not very good by today's standards, but the gameplay is very well balanced and it is a great game. I still play it too.
I would be surprised if your campus computer would even let you install the game to begin with. The ones at my university don't let you install anything.
Actually, I couldn't agree more on the gaming part. There are so few games made for Mac not to mention laptops aren't very good for gaming to begin with. But that doesn't really change the fact that I want to try games that others talk about like portal and Half Life series... Even if I have to play at lowest graphics.
It's not that you use a mac for a dedicated gaming machine, it's that we have a mac we use for other things and we would like to play games on it as well. I suggest you get off your high horse now and realize that gaming isn't the only reason for owning a computer.[QUOTE="kodyoo"][QUOTE="coolmonkeykid"]why would anyone game on a mac?painguy1
were on gamespot. Apple and gaming is no.
I fail to see how this effects you or anyone else, so I'm not entirely sure why anybody would care about what I do on my Mac. I am in no way a "Mac Fanboy", I think they make some terrible decisions on products sometimes, and I already admitted I probably wasn't going to buy another mac, however, the macbook is just as good a computer as any other laptop on the market and is more than capable of playing modern games, even if you have to play at low graphics. The point is, gaming isn't my life, I use it to have fun when I am bored and really don't care if I can't play on Ultra graphics. I don't see why me owning one brand of computer means that I shouldn't be allowed to play games at all. They need to be working on getting Episode 3 out. Not worrying about Mac users.millerlight89I highly doubt the same group is working on the two projects simultaneously and that they making a choice between working on steam for mac or episode 3....

Looks pretty interesting, but I don't think I would pay more than $5 for it...
