I only played until 17 hours into the game, but how exactly was the Final fantasy XIII battle system ''brilliant'' ?
Even without the auto-battle function it was still pretty boring.
Well i guess the system got more interesting later on, or i hope so.
I guess people in this thread need to realise its not the actual cross people have a problem with.
The thing can stay, as long as a symbol of every religion of every person that died is represented, including the muslim faith.
This is not the case, hence the anger.
Well let's see
2012 announcement of x-box 3.
2013 late year release because of holiday season + to give them time to produce an ample supply.
Wont be until late 2014 that we will have the first quality releases in good amounts and quality on all genres.
Do you really want to wait for 2015/16 for a new console + some good games to play? I sure don't, although the cost of a new system may be a problem.
They can't increase the animals welfare or condition because that would make meat prices rise through the roof, not even mentioning the other issues you would get. However, they can atleast give them a painless death. It may not be much, but atleast it's doable.[QUOTE="koen57"][QUOTE="worlock77"]
We breed them just to slaughter to fill our stomachs, we keep them in deplorable conditions while they're alive, and we're worred about if they suffer during the killing? Seriously? Like I said it's absurd.

You think being electrocuted or hit in the head with a metal bolt is painless?
According to studies i've seen, yea it's fairly painless (the bolt part, no idea about electrocution). Atleast it's less painfull than slitting the animals throat and let them bleed to death. I mean, you would actually have to try to make a death more painful than that.I don't see what the problem is? 80% of halal meat is done through electrical stunning, and kosher meat doesn't need to involve the additional suffering for the animal. This law is just common sense if you ask me.[QUOTE="CannedWorms"][QUOTE="worlock77"]
Personally I think it's absolutely absurd that we slaughter animals en masse to sate our lust for meat, yet we worry so much about how we kill them. Especially considering the terrible conditions that most are kept in while they're alive. Keeping them confined to small cages, sitting in their own filth and being overfed to fatten them up is ok. But letting them bleed out while concious? No, that would be inhumane, so let's smash them on the head with an air-propelled metal bolt (which I can't imagine is exactly painless) so we can knock them out first.

35+ hours story without a 17 years old ''im gonna save the world and never give up'' kind of character. best FF games had a darker protagonist, and there's a reason for that. Mature story wouldn't hurt either.
Open world with a lot of sidequests that actually have a point apart from getting better weaponry.
