Good, this very good my guess is that Madworld will make anyware from 350,000 to 500,000 in sold copies with in a year and House of the Dead: Overkill especially after an initial price cut go from 300,000 to around 750,000 to nearly a million copies worldwide. In the case of House of the Dead I figure $30.00 is still the sweet spot price for the genre, yet I heard it sold just under 200,000 copies worlwide despite the higher price tag.

[QUOTE="Jaysonguy"]

It's a game for kids

It's aimed at the prepubescent kids who aren't old enough to get it

The ones who are aren't impressed

That's why games like this don't do well.

Like Gears of War.

you know , most of the wii gamers that like bloody action games already switched to another console where there are loads of em , myself included , i was sick and tired to wait for such games on wii , now i dont care much bout madworld because im too busy with better games (not on wii). Madworld and conduit aint gonna save the wii for hardcore gamers , when you've got more &better games of that genres elsewhere

AmnesiaHaze
I hope you don't mean games like RE5, thank god I rented that disappointment after hearing about the demo and the gameplay descriptions in the reviews, it was rental first for me, thankfully I bought Madworld instead a far better game.

What qulifies you to judge that they are bad games, in fact every time NOA does something like this a poster such as the person I'm replying are claim that we ain't missing anything by Nintendo not publishing these games in North America. I don't know if they are Nintendobot defenders or just trolls mocking regular Wii gamers. Anyways in the case of FF, I say this is BS, I have enjoyed the series on the Xbox and its a shame that despite its solid history of western releases and a western fanbase from three previous game, Nintendo still decieded to keep it in Japan only. I really wished Tecmo never gave Nintendo the rights to publish this game. It should have came out on the PS360 not so much because of graphics, but because it would have had a better chance of coming out in North America. Well this convinces me more Nintendo will show the same crap come E3 that they did last year. Oh well thank god for third parties because the last Nintendo games I bought for the Wii where MP3:Corruption and BWii, since then it has been nothing but third parties for me, and since they figure real games like Fatal Frame and Disater Day of Crisis aren't there thing, then I will stick to third party games on Wii only.

i dont understand how any of the games mentioned (except conduit) appeal to the hardcore crowd,

HOTD- stupid on the rails shooter... who still wants to play games like this

MadWorld- swing the Wii remote around like an idiot and beat a story 3 hours long that costs you $50 + tax

NMH- same concept as Madworld a little better though

The Conduit is the only game that is going to succeed as a hardcore game... no one wants an on the rails shooter and obviously hack and slash games with a lot of gore arent going to be successful .. 0 replay value = failure

Makedonijo

Stupid post. a) Some people like rail shooters like me, just because you don't like the genere doesn't mean its stupid or that other people don't like it. b) Madworld uses mostly button presses for regular atacks and specific motion control moves for special moves and finishers. Oh and its more then 3 hours long try 7 to 10 hours, plus hard mode for the real hard core gamer, plus an offline multiplayer mode to play with a friend. At-least be informed before making dumg comment on a game you most likely haven't played. c) Same as above, in fact I can't believe you actually played NMH if you really think the attacks are so called waggle. d) No one want's rail shooters like more then 500,000 copies sold of Ghost Squad, over a million sold of Resident Evil UC, over 900,000 sold of House of the Dead 2 & 3, and hack slash games with gore aren't successfull well tell that to the God of War series.

At-least IGN played the game, which is more of an opinion then you forum posters who are being negative about it without playing it.

Shortened campaign

No zombie mode

Only 4v4 multiplayer

No objective MP modes

Less MP maps

AWESOME, HUH

Lord_Nas3k

Single player campaign is the same on the Wii as is on the HD consoles.

[QUOTE="Ragnarok1051"]I guess I'll be the first to say it looks like crap. All this time and thats what they've come up with?Cloud_Insurance
I agree, it looks like garbage - not just the visuals, the gameplay. I mean, holy christ, is who buying the Wii, seriously?

The haters,a preset hate on something they haven't tried or care about on a system they show a most ilogical hatred, which is even more ilogical by their behaviour of wasting there time posting here rather then playing their godly HD console. Anyways back to playing my latest game that i bought Okami, so I guess I'm taking the Wii seriously to respond to you, bye.

As for the trailer awsome stuff, its good to know FF:CC Crytal Bearers is around, but that its a rare Wii third part exclusive with A production values. If the gameplay is as good as the graphics then this is going to great. Kind of reminding me of Twilight Princess but only better looking, with games like this, the new Wii Tales, Monster Hunter 3, and Draqon Quest 10, Japan if fully Nintendo owned.

[QUOTE="Chutebox"][QUOTE="dr_octagon"]

Didn't realize until now the whole post was a joke. Was the joke within the joke post, or the either way around?

dr_octagon

I was acting like the dude I quoted was trying to continue the saying you started.

Hah. I get it. Carry on.

The stupidity of haters.

[QUOTE="zaku101"]The last one for the Wii sucked, I can't wait for this one. The last one got a 5.5 so this one must at least get a 7.0 if lucky a 7.5.funsohng
First of all, the last one on wii was just a spin-off title and secondly, i'd be really surprised if it gets 7.5, since if it's going to be a true dq game, it will deserve far more than that

Well this is Lamespot so I wouldn't be surprised if they did that, anyways DQ10, the new main series Wii Tales game, and Monster Hunter 3 will assure the Wii 100% victory in Japan.
