I played and I give it the same score IGN gave it 7.5, its a fun lighthearted good loking powerstone like brawler. Anyways no surprise at GS score but I have long since given up on their reviews especially Wii reviews and their Wii reporting and news is a joke, I really only come here on occasions for the forums. Really, to people who are unsure of this game please give it a rent, and make up you're own mind.

[QUOTE="Xraydon"]Why would you sell it? deathmetalgod
Because it's a piece of crap. My 360 urinates all over it from a great height. The Wii is only good if you're a child, if you're a casual gamer who doesn't really enjoy games but likes the novelty of the Wii cos it's "fun for all the family" or if you still live with your family/friends so you constantly have people to play with. Basically it sucks if you play it alone, certainly when compared to Micro$ofts machine.

Meh troll topic that should be locked. Or should be posted on SW.

I'm interested, but to bad its been delayed until February 2009, oh well if DeBlob was any indication this delay will only make the game better so more reason to be excited about it.

[QUOTE="XprimeX"]

Wow I was just browsing through looking at the wii lineup for 2009 after hearing so many people saying the line-up is terrible...

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom

Monster Hunter 3

No More Heroes2

Deadly Creatures

Klonoa:Door to Phantomile

The Conduit

Madworld

Ready to Rumble Revolution

Punchout....... If this is how great the wii lineup is when its "dieing", I think Im becoming a wii gamer this xmas! lol So many awesome games

jdc6305

As a Wii owner I won't buy one of these games. Give me a Resident evil 4 style game or a new final fantasy or something of that calibur and I'll play it.

Wow aren't we boring and close minded, we get some qulity games that are bit different and one is not interested in at-least renting it to see if one might like something new. Seriously how boring can that get if you wan't those games get a PS3 or 360, of course if those said games on HD ended up getting Wii versions they would get bashed for looking inferior so either way in the eyes of forum Wii haters. The Wii can't win either way. Oh well, at-least I'm buying them because I would rather enjoy well made unique games then go on forums and complain that there is no games on the Wii, just because the games aren't the same old, same old.

[QUOTE="pyromaniac223"]Because, with the embarrassing lack of quality third-party support, those games, with a few others, are basically ALL the quality games on the Wii. Which is really terrible.ramboturd72

This.

How ironic since NOA has stupidly refused to publish Disaster: Day of Crisis and the lack of any info on release outside of Japan for Fatal Frame 4. Its actually been nothing but third party games that have had my intrest this second half of the year. Games that I purchased like DeBlob, Tales of Symphonia 2 and CoD 5, other games of interest are Monster lab, Castlevania Judgement, Sonic Unleashed and Rygar:Battle of Argus with two potential standouts next mont in the form of Mushroom Men and Deadly Creatures. So there is good stuff from third parties on the Wii, and I expect things to get even better next year. There is alot of shovelware and rushed ports but there also a good number of third party gems to satisfy your gaming needs on the Wii. All you need to do is use the internet and gaming sites to find info and reviews on them, and if you need further help in game puchase decision then rent a game from your local video store.

and those look in game to me...quicktime/sequence kills maybe

komdosina

It looks more like in-engine than in-game to me.

Who knows, I mean, they have been working on it for a long time. We'll see soon enough I guess.

Its in-game trust me I've seen the vids as well as enough screenshot and read plenty of previews, the Wii is capable enough to produce graphics like that. Really, I guess the glut of PS2 ports (not all bad, but still to many) and quick cash-in shovelware, has made people think the Wii is incapable of good graphics.

I never said that the Wii is incapable of those graphics. I'm in doubt because most 3rd parties don't give a **** about putting effort into the Wii.

I understand, but this isn't one of them, the fact that the delayed it a few months even pas the Hallowen schedule they wanted to release it in means that the actually care about the quality of this game. Just like the recently released De Blob which was pushed half a year in development in order to insure it was up to snuff, and given the positive reviews it was a good call. It looks like western publishers like THQ are actually starting to care about the quality of their games especilly on the Wii. Anyway's I hope positive reviews will get you and many others who come here to try this game, but judging from the lastest IGN preview I'm feeling optimistic on this one.

Although I love de Blob, and consider it to be in my top 15 favorite Wii games, the graphics do not compare to something like Mario Galaxy. Not even close.

The cutscenes look amazing, though.

Also, I watched a few videos of Deadly Creatures, and while it does look good, it doesn't look as good as those screenshots.

Perhaps they've worked on the graphics since the most recent build of the game.

Well then I disagree, found the graphics of Deadly Creatures to match the screenshots overall, but there is no point in arguing because I'm pretty set on what I saw. Yet it can be agreed that it looks better then most other third-party efforts and really even then only the top first-party games like MP:3, Galaxy and SSMBM look better then his game. Meaning its top tier effort as far as I'm concerened.

As for De Blob in my opinion you're selling a bit short. No it isn't better or as good a Galaxy but it still looks better then most Wii games, and its in the league of how I expect a properly developed from the ground up Wii game should. I thought the animation at 60fps was great, resolution had crisp clear look, it had great particle effects topped with nice bloom lighting and water shimmering effects, and all round great Wii graphical package. Plus you are right the video cutsences are amazing which speaks of the games quality. Anyways. I said in my response that De Blob was developed gaming package due to proper game development time, I never did compare it to Galaxy.

As for Deadly Creatures well if you haven't read the latest preview here take a read http://wii.ign.com/articles/925/925753p1.html, if you already read it my apologies. If the preview still leaves you skeptical then at-least the game judging from the preview deserves a rental just so that you or any other gamer can make an opinion on it, that and also reviews.

Never mind, you must have read the progress report that was posted with the screenshots.
