For the longest time, I didn't have an internet connection period, I may have one now, but that doesn't mean that everyone does, and I bet that there are people who are now concerned about having to look for a cheap, but reliable service to play halo offline, maybe not many, but there could still be some.
I'm not trying to make an argument with this, just thought it would be an interesting study for people to see while on this similar topic. This study was in 08, so I'd imagine that there might be a 4% difference now either side, but I'm no expert or anything.
So....you think that the protagonist is represented by the dark-skinned, Shinobu look-alike, and the what appears to be white female? If I'm getting this right, that would be a interesting concept, and I like the idea of two representing one in general, but this would just add a sense of visual interest.
I hate this whole "It's not marketable" crap, it makes no sense and certainly can only promote the growth of these subconscious prejudices (that is assuming they're subconscious)
@TC_Squared Eidos also made another game with a female lead called "Urban Chaos" around the PS1 era. I remember playing and loving it when I was younger.
@aloufika Not to sound racist or anything, but I've noticed that Asian people tend to have people that looks much younger than they are. Miyamoto here is a good example, I thought he was in his late forties with his energy and all.
ZombiU isn't bad, but I would have preferred that killer freaks from space; haven't had an fps that looked that original since...well...the original Turok I guess....I'd like to see another crazy fps game, or at least one that seems to have an original take (kffos seemed much like a Gremlins-esque take on shooters)
I'd also bet that since they would've had a larger amount of time spent making the game that it would have had a better chance of being of higher quality, not to mention it would have a different focus.
Only if it can get a good amount of games, and even then it might have some trouble. What saved the 3ds was price drop and then good games. Looking at the release list for the Wii U...it's not looking so hot for the next few months, and having a price drop will not do much for it if there aren't many enticing exclusives.
Personally, I hope that they don't drop the price any time soon; I just bought my $350 deluxe and would hate to have spent unnecessary cash.
@AlexFili @OJ_the_LION Why? that game was so....not good.....it hardly felt like I was trying to survive and it was just an action game with a zombie skin over it.
Didn't like the idea with Spyro, didn't like the idea with Disney, definitely do not like with Pokemon. Especially since they have other series that haven't had games for a while (Starfox, F-Zero, ect.)
At least it seems it will be a more reasonable price (I remember Skylanders was going for nearly $100 and an additional $7+ dollars per figurine, not sure about now) at $18-$20 for the game and about $2 per figurine (though, there are hundreds more pokemon than skylanders characters, so that'll most likely cover it)
This pretty much confirms for me that they'll never make another console RPG of pokemon in the style of Colosseum or Gale of Darkness; quite potentially my best experiences with that franchise.
