Was thinking of upgrading to an hd 4850, seeing as my current 7900 gt is struggling to keep up with today's games. Though I'm worried that my power supply isn't capable of handling one, it has 500 watts which is fine, but only has a combined total of 34 amps on the two 12 volt rails. Would this be capable of powering a 4850?
Current system:
Q6600
7900 gt
2GBs RAM
2 cd drives
1 floppy drive
1 HDD
X-Fi sound card
2 case fans (they are enough to keep the card cool)

Did everyone here miss the two links to the benchmarks of the HD 4850 I posted a few pages back? I'm still seeing a few people wondering what the benchmarks for the HD 4850 will be like :P
Performs pretty close to the 9800 GTX, even beating it in few games, which is remarkable considering the card will only be 200 and is still using beta drivers (at least according to the second link)
I have an odd problem were if I put the computer into standby mode that only the harddrive will shut off and nothing else. (As in all fans/lights stay on) I've tried updating the bios for my motherboard to the lastest version but it didn't help. Are there any other posible solutions?
