I highly doubt that he's going to be sentenced to any jail time beyond that which he has already served.

I'd make him do community service until his labor makes up for the cost of having the police/bomb squad go out there.

To those who are agreeing with the whole "post-Columbine" world crap...you have to realize that this is exactly what the government counts on. They want to use any and every negative event to have a reason to take away your freedom and put themselves in a position of control. Don't give in to the brainwashing bullcrap the government feeds you so they can have more control. Government becomes more and more for themselves and less and less "for the people." Keep encouraging them. See where it gets us.
