Even though I think MJ is better, I really don't think that you can determine how good a player is compared to another by how many rings each has. Basketball, as the Heat have shown with their poor play, is a team game. Jordan didn't win all those rings by himself, and some of the greatest basketball players in the history of the NBA never won a ring.
But then again, maybe this is me just subconsciously defending my favorite basketball player...

Precisely because basketball is a team sport, the better player can get more out of his team and win championships. The fact that James doesn't have any championships shows that he's (a) not hot enough to carry the team; and (b) not a hot enough team player. What?!? Who cares that does not mean anything. R u serious man i mean really.. He was the only one to carry the team on the cavs. And the heat rite now have just started their season with the 3 stars
were u born after the 2000s and only saw him play wit wizards? jordan easy. kobe is even better than lebron, that would have been a much comparison with the ring count and everything. While lebron is very good, he still cant make a cluch shot to save his life. the greatest players can win a game for his team, take over the fourth quarter. thats where kobe and jordans brilliance shine throxXxQuizzyxXx
What? LeBron pretty much made the Cavs win. All 3 have clutched games before. Ya maybe LeBron may not "clutch" as much as the other 2 but that has nothing to do. Kobe is a great but LeBron>Kobe
championships dont prove anything about a single player.. plus he actually had better players than lebron now.. i mean wade and bosh r good but jordan had better teamates.. plus he led the cavs to actually get wins..while now all they do is lose!

Omg, if u look at the stats kobe is below michael and leBron on almost every type of stat Hey I love LeBron, but we could also say it was much harder to score in Jordan's time against Ds like The Bad Boys, Hakeem (Dwight's not even comparable) and hand checks were often used by players, not just KG like today. LeBron made the cavs actually WIN. Now they cant even win a game..
