Isn't Assassin's Creed a trilogy and the whole point of the animus is to train Desmond to become an assassin and gather information from his ancestor's memories to defeat the templars? If so, shouldn't #3 have Desmond as the main character this time around in the present day, or did I miss something?

*This is not a troll post and I am not saying the game is flat out bad.

Not that I would call this game a righteous turd, but it definitely had little staying power. I hyped this game with all of my friends as if there was no tomorrow and watched practically all the news/hype videos relating to the game. My problem with it was that the campaign and story were pretty forgettable, except for the ending after the credits, and the multiplayer relies too much on your team. Now I prefer team-based a lot more than a lone-wolf type mp like COD, but sadly, because of COD, that's how the majority play the game now. Also I vastly prefer the ranking system of the previous more. The game that I am referring to is Halo: Reach.

Gaming is one of my passions and just relaxes me. I love it and do not plan on quitting anytime soon.

I really could not get into the game what-so-ever. The story may be good and all but I can not play a game with poor gameplay. But I have been wanting to try it once more just to be sure, because rarely do I dislike games and practically everyone loves the game.

I went through ME2 first because I heard that I will be informed of everything I need to know and I never expected to really like the game that much, hell I chose to play FF13 before this :/.

But besides that, are Infiltrators any good in the first one? Because so far they are far from what I expected and will probably re-roll as a new class if they do not get any better.

Just quit why force yourself through a game? Maybe switch classes and see if you can stand it otherwise just quit.

craigalan23

I want to force my self because i have heard amazing thing about the game and, like I said, I loved ME2 so I would really like to fall in love with the first installment as well.

Anyway, what class would you say has the best "gameplay" or is the closest to ME2's Infiltrator class, because the infiltrator in 1 is not doing it for me. Scoping in with a sniper is like a baby on crack trying to shoot a gun.

I recently bought Mass Effect and I am REALLY trying to get into it; however, the gameplay is horrid and I can not get past that fact. I do not care about any glitches, elevator scenes nor the Mako, it is just the gameplay. My predicament is strange for I absolutely love ME2 and it is my #2 game of all time. So my question is should I just keep playing and wait for it to improve somehow or just drop it? (BTW i am playing as an Infiltrator and am about 3 hours in)

I found Insanity to be relatively easy. I only used Miranda and Grunt and the only part where i got stuck at was the platforms of the Collector ship, but that was only for about an hour. Just make sure you use cover as if your life, or Shepherd's in this case, depended on it and strategize team placement, powers and kill orders. Btw I played as an Infiltrator.
