I think I have the same problem. First I thought it was my gpu. But after reading this topic, the psu problem starts to make sense to me because a year ago I bought a new gpu that was to powerfull for my psu and the psu fan was spinning like crazy each time I was booting my computer and one day, my computer refused to start, so I had to put back the older gpu and the artifacts (usually followed bya complete crash) began couple of months later...so I might have fried the psu with the new gpu.

hopethis helps

Ya, let me know on the Dell. I am looking now at the S2409W.... hmmmm. I looked at the Asus in the store near me and they are nice but not sure they compare to the Dells that I have looked at.

Overall, I'm very satisfied, as long as you sit in front of the monitor colors are great, no ghosting, no lag, no dead pixels, no bleeding nice and easy menu...the only thing is: I thought it would be bigger...viewing size is 12''(H) and 21''(W). I'm not sure but I think 24'' monitor using 1920X1200 are bigger than 24'' monitor using 1920X1080. So if I were you, I would keep your T240, or go with the asus VW266H (25'5 '' at 1920X1200)...Of course with dell, you get awesome quality monitors and superb costumer service. Knowing that the viewing size of the st2410 was that small, I would have probably waited a bit to get more cash and bought the U2410

I am not sure which motherboard to purchase,either the asus p6t deluxe or rampage 2 extreme. I wouldnt really be able to buy the ramoage but i found it at 460 Aus dollars on ebay from america. Does it offer any other real advantage over the p6t becides 3x cross/sli. Also warantee wise the it come with a 3 year warrantee but i would have to sent it back to america. What do u guys recommend? The p6t i will purchase from a local pc retailer for 460.

if you don't plan on going 3Xcross/sli, I don't think it's worth the risk of getting something on ebay far away from where you live...there's too many variables which could go wrong(I personally had bad experiences on ebay)

I'd get the Dell. It's larger, has an HDMI input and uses less power. It's 5ms response time is fine. It's not VESA compatible though if that matters to you.Bane_v2

ok thank you, this is the one I was aiming for. For the vesa, I don't care about it

Hi,

I don't know which one between these 2 lcd monitor I should get :

Samsung P2350 or

Dell ST2410

I can get both for the same price where I live (250$ CDN)

Both are 1920X1080 res and 50 000:1 contrast ratio

differences between the 2 are:

Samsung =response time = 2ms

brightness = 300cd

size = 23 inch

Dell = response time = 5ms

brightness = 250 cd

size =24 inch

this monitor will be use for gaming only...I'm in a hurry because the dell monitor is 70$ off but I don't know for how long

Thanks
