I don't even understand where you guys get the idea that this dude is saying you all have lower standards.

I think he's restated over and over that it is his oppinion that the games are nothing new.

And they aren't, if you really look at them. But then again all of the systems have that error. They are all trying to recreate the success they had with past titles. Do you blame them? No. Would you like to see it stopped? Most people would say yes, except for the super fans. The super fans we most commonly see on Nintendo products. Why? Because they grew up with those systems and games, they love them.

I liked the fact that the Wii was adding something fun, and it really was great...for a while. For me the honeymoon stage wore off as soon as I realized there wasn't any killer game for the system in my oppinion.

I think the Wii system is great for those who are relying on nostalgia instead of graphics and fancy doodads. But just wait, in ten years or so, most of us will be just the same with Microsoft or Sony.

I like what the 360 has to offer, but I really like the Gran Turismo series as well as PS2 games that I used to play, but got rid of once I sold the system.

I also want to see where things go with PSP connectivity, seeing as how I have that too.

Prolly not. Free? Yes. Good? Matter of oppinion. Easy to find people? Probably not. Easy to talk to people? No.

There won't be an online network dedicated to Wii users, it's going to be different for each game. So it's basicly PS2's online with no microphone and a lot of lag.

I just sold my Wii, good lord I couldn't stand that system. (I am NOT a Nintendo person, don't know what I was thinking...it was all the hype)

So...It's between an Xbox 360, a Playstation 3, or a laptop (I'm in on the Dell M1210 or a nice Sony Vaio)

I've been a Sony fan (not fanboy!) for a long time, the sleek black consoles really intrigue me. I've owned Playstation 1, Playstation 2, and Playstation Portable (still have). I am thinking the PS3 will be a nice addition to my love of Sony products. I really enjoy games like Gran Turismo and Socom, and I have a feeling that PS3's power will really boost multi-platform games like Assassin's Creed.

If I got a 360 or a PS3 I'd also get a new HDTV that I'd use for my PC as well (I use it for gaming such ass HalfLife2 mods, some WoW, and CS 1.6)

Tell me what you think, without it becoming a matter of sales figures between systems. I just want some good comparisons.

I'm selling my Wii as of now...I can't stand the lack of games. I am really not looking forward to any games coming up on it either, except for Resident Evil 4 (port) and Umbrella Chronicles.

If you like RPG, you're gonna have a whole...what...2 games? If Super Paper Mario counts?
BTW, people saying Super Paper Mario is a good game...well...if you like reading instead of playing a game, I guess you're right. And switching between two dimensions is really fun! like omg!

I'm in the market to buy a new system...I had the Wii and it just was not cutting it. So I am selling it and buying either a 360 or a PS3. I like some of 360's exclusives, but there is just a pull on me towards a PS3.

I've owned all three playstations up to this point, as well as the PSP, I have an attraction to these black Sony consoles.

Now...I want your guys' oppinion on the topic. What would you choose? A 360 or a PS3??
