Everytime I turn my webcam on using msn messenger for a video conference it goes to blue screen and then restarts my computer. I tried installing the latest drivers for it, but still the same issue. I have Windows Vista. Please help as I am away from my family and would like to see them very badly. Any help is appreciated!!!
I am just about to retire my 8800 GTS, it is starting to struggle with some titles. It was a great card, but its time to move on with my 5850.
Ok, thanks guys. I am on my old system as of now, I am taking it in today to the pc shop where I bought it (PC Cyber) and telling them to take it back and going elsewhere, first thing I did when I came home, first trip, the ram was set it the wrong slots, brought it back and yesterday and they set the ram in the right slots. Bring it home, the video card in it dies (my old 8800 GTS *I was gonna use this until the new fermi chips came out*, so I splurged and bought a HD 5850) I come home last night installing windows took forever, I get on install all drivers and the damn thing kept lagging because of the CPU temps! Oh, and my 8800 GTS works fine in the system I am using here. I am tired of this computer shop. I am done. I will be purchasing elsewhere! I wil let you all know how it goes.

Temperature of all cores are min 163 F to 174 F
Not sure how to post it all, does this help?
So I installed Windows Vista, all drivers are updated. I did a performance run and it says CPU at 100% Capacity, low system resources, investigate. Since it is a fresh install on a new system, im not sure if its a crappy processor or not...any help would be appreciated. The computer runs fine for a short periods of time and then it spikes upto 90-100 % CPU usage...
Installed all the drivers from the site, the problem is still there. I will go and buy Windows 7 64-bit OEM tomorrow. Hopefully this is the problem, do you think this is 100 % the problem?
I noticed that when it does lag/bog down that when I goto windows task manager and under the performance tab in cpu usage history that it spikes high, is this also releated to the drivers? please say yes. I will install all the new ones now. Was looking forward to using my machine tonight for some gaming :(
OK, now that I have installed the Chip drivers off the disk that came with the Mobo, it is still a bit sluggish. Do you think the video card drivers will make this puppy roar? It is still a bit sluggish with little things like opening windows and such, I hope the video card drivers fix this. If not, what do you think the problem would be?
In system/Device manager it reads:
