@legendofsense: The main point is for many families its a waste to spend 1000 or 1500 or even 2000 on a pc when you simply want to game after work an xbox one s or a ps4 slim at 250€ is plenty enough (one s price went down to 170€ many times since launch so it can be really cheap on sales).

My ps4 pro was 350€ with game and controller and I personally buy most of my games based on if they have 60fps option or not (I owm 1080p tv sony bravia 43 inch).

For each its own. I agree that 60fps should be optional on consoles and my way of saying it is avoiding games at 30fps only.

Got nioh. Resident evil biohazard. Battlefield one. Cod ww2. Tlou. Shadow of kolossus. rise of the tomb rider. killzone shadowfall. Fortnite. God of war 4.

The only game I bought with my money at 30fps was horizon zero down (maybe runs at 40fps I feel like its smoother than 30 on my pro?) and wildlands was free (bought pro controller and wildlands was included. looks amazing on my tv and is totally playable but 60fps games are smoother.
