Splitting my time between FF14, Division 2, Greedfall, and Resident Evil 2

An unsealed game is not new.
I stopped shopping at GameStop because they kept selling me unsealed games as new. I do not consider unsealed games as being new and I do not trust retailers like GameStop to give me everything that comes in the package if it is unsealed. For example, in 2011 when Deus Ex: Human Revolution was released, physical copies contained a coupon code that granted you a digital copy for the onlive cloud gaming service. GameStop got into a lot of trouble because it was uncovered that the company had instructed its employees to open the sealed copies and remove the coupons and throw them away. Now onlive was terrible and did not last long, but the point is that those who bought deus ex new were getting unsealed copies that did not contain all that was suppose to be in it.
The only retailer in my area that would even try to sell a new game without a seal is GameStop. All other retailers I've spoken to including my local Play N Trade have said they only consider sealed copies to be new. In fact, many retailers like walmart have a return policy that explicitly says that if a product is open that it cannot be returned for a refund. The most they will do is replace the product if it is damaged.
Here is GameStop's own refund policy
"New Items (excluding tablets and accessories) purchased from GameStop can be returned for a full refund within 30 days if unopened. However, opened items of this category can be exchanged with an identical product within 30 days of purchase. No refund is provided for New merchandise if opened."
Also GameStop considers unsealed games as being open. So if they sell you an unsealed copy, you cannot get a full refund even if you never opened it yourself.
I pick option number 3: 6 months after release when the game is 50% off on a steam sale.
Games seem to drop in price so quickly these days that buying anything at launch seems like a waste of money.
I like all three. But oblivion's story was better than skyrim. Mehrunes Dagon tearing through imperial city was more memorable than the anticlimactic showdown with Alduin.
This seems like low hanging, but there is the witcher series.
Bought Division 2 for 3 bucks on uplay. Before that, I bought Greedfall on steam.
Could try Dungeon Defenders
You can buy Ultima 1-3 all together on gog.com for only 6 dollars!
It is certainly harder than dark souls.
