[QUOTE="Cali3350"][QUOTE="Amir29"] Uhm... OK. Take Sony's first party games and compare them to Microsoft's. See the difference? Look at the current releases of games. See a difference? No? I should rest my case here, but I'll continue.
Bluray holds 50GB (Dual Layer) HDDVD holds 25 GB. See a difference? Yeah? Good. I should rest my case there, but I'll continue AGAIN.
360 has RRoD. A massive and well known defect in manufaturing that STILL has yet to be addressed. Have you heard of anything like that happening to PS3? No? I can rest my case here, but guess what. That's right, I'll continue.
Sony DESTROYED Microsoft when it came to the overall life cycle of last gen systems. PS2s even rivaled cable TV boxes with an install base of 2 in every 3 homes. They didn't actually begin to sell well until they broke even in sales with the cost of manufacturing in the third year of their life cycle. Sounds like the PS3 right now, doesn't it? Yeah? I should be done, but I have one more thing to say...
Before you go off on Sony manufacturing flaws, maybe you should think to yourself that there is a reason they've dominated the market for 13 years. They COMMIT to RAISING the gaming industry standard, while others are still looking to profit by tricking you into sub standards.
No HD for Wii? 360 breaks down frequently? No one else will play HD movies? Better graphics butmore limitations on media's storage space from 360? a couple of decent first party games from competitors, while Sony releases a SLEW of new concepts (along with sequels) yearly.
Please... PLEASE... Give credit where its due. I think Sony knows what they're doing. Afterall, while people are still buying PS2s, others are trying to ebay there old Xboxes ;)
Call me a fanboy if you guys wish. But after gaming for 22 years. I can say that there isn't a single company in the history of gaming that's given us such great quality and good times. Even our beloved 8-Bit Nintendo took 30 minutes of wrestling time before getting a game to boot up.
Sony is breaking even now, and will profit next year. The EXACT same way that it did last Gen. AND it might come early than later considering Universities and military outfits are now looking to order Cell Processors in mass quantities ;)

Sony sold all their Cell fabs to IBM, and per contract does not collect a royalty based on sales. That means nothing for Sony.
Yes it does. By IBM selling them in mass quantity, means the cost per unit will now be cheaper for Sony to acquire.
Ownage approved :D....But you shouldnt be wasting your time here on GS kids.Go to B3d or somewhere else where every one faces the facts and truth.
