hmmm, in all honesty i cant understand how anyone took much from that trailer, i personally think it was a obscure mess. FF13 has a flashy trailer, it was absolute shit, sorry it was. No hint that it is back to open world? are side quests back? how exactly does the combat work??. All they showed was a bunch of flashy jumping around from a seemingly scripted event, i had no idea what was gameplay and what wasn't. They have been making this for how long now?? i was expecting more.
I don't completely agree with the article, it showed some promise, more then the shambles of the media reveal. However, i do understand Gamespots negativity. Pretty visuals are nice, and they were impressive, but nothing that hasn't been seen on pc's for awhile now.Apart from spark there was not much which shouted innovation, i would have loved them to show how the console stands apart from the current gen other then its emphasis on graphics, how about improved computer AI, how that will make for more engaging experiences, branching story lines, more decision and consequence. Even showing a genre like strategy games, these things which you don't see much on either current gen consoles and we really need. Although though Xbox one showed some great games, they were all variations of games which the current gen is already flooded with.
sooo... anyone planning on spending 10 grand on a super computer to play with ubersampling? i'am really happy this is coming on consoles as well, its a great series and im glad more people will be able to get there hands on it!
@Imperiacommando @lethal41 @Rennik_Repotsir well with comments solely about the engine and " im all for final fantasy looking like that" what other conclusions would i come to?
@Imperiacommando @Rennik_Repotsir it's people like you who babble on about pretty visuals which have killed FF. Who cares what it looks like, ff games need good story and a vibrant world, graphics are secondary, if that.
omgg!another ff game with lightning! i think lightning has revolutionized the franchise on her own, such a deep and complex character, and the other characters really help to make it such a vibrant, exciting journey in a original creative world. Good job square!
