@motopram: yeah I get what you're saying, I just wish the S was the launch console and then Scorpio could've been the upgrade. I don't want them taking any more loses on the console side of business coz we all know what shareholders are like.

@graffitiheart: That's my point, the Scorpio can't afford to fail and as a console only gamer, I care more about the console side of Xbox and not Windows 10

@xenomorphalien: So then the Scorpio will harm the S's hardware sales aswel. The S should've never been produced, the PS4 is technically still more powerful when it comes to gaming so most gamers will just wait for the Neo or Scorpio and people can buy a 4K player for cheaper if that's their reasoning for buying an S.

@graffitiheart: They won't keep keep the console division if it keeps losing vast amount of money even if Windows 10 gaming does extremely well, shareholders won't allow it as they are only interested in profits. I think Scorpio is a do or die situation for Spencer and team

"Xbox hardware revenue dropped by a significant 33 percent" damn I feel for Phil Spencer, he must be under immerse pressure. As a console only gamer, I'm worried about the future of Xbox hardware business. The Scorpio CAN'T fail! Competition is always good for consumers.

Lol I bet the devs are laughing at how much money they've raised. It's a rip-off especially when you don't know exactly how much of the crowdfund actually goes on the game $100+ million is a lot of cash for a game, atleast give people a release date unless they aren't planning on releasing it, hence the change in policy.

@Rushaoz: MS don't go by Moore's law, the X1 was overpriced even without the Kinect when compared to the PS4 when launched and only came down in the 2nd year. They might play the long term game and price the Scorpio lower to build the install base and make money back on software sales or not but any console with 6 teraflops can't be cheap.

I think this is a hint that the Scorpio won't be cheap so there's an option for people who can't afford to pay cash on the full retail price and I don't expect it to be cheap if it's as powerful as they claim. I hope Sony and MS release the full specs for the Neo and Scorpio soon.

I was hyped about this game the first time it was reviewed, but the idea of less chances of running into other online gamers put me off. I wish it was more like Star Citizen. It would be great if you could build bases, trade with other gamers etc
