I cant remember the last Japanese game that didnt have "erotic" female characters. I agree 100%, the thing that most puts me off a game with a female lead, is the exploitative nature of females in games. Kinda the same in movies, we cant seem to find strong women that dont rely on sex in some form.

Ill take an ellen ripley type character over an alice type character any day of the week. I dont need my female leads to be running around in bondage gear to make a story compelling, I need good writing for that.
