And any good that was done in the humble bundle deal has now been utterly destroyed by the greed of EA. it's not enough that they want £50/$60 for a game, but now that want to turn those games into a service with online bollox.
Here's the thing these morons will never understand, we gamers like the OPTION of going online. We don't like it forced on us, just ask Microsoft. Everyone likes online, but offline single player experiences are still very much an important part of gaming.
@punksterdaddy @spartanx169x And he didnt make a post that assumed he did say **** steve ballmer. The question he asked was what did he do that made him so awesome. Sure he could be a big presence on stage, but as a CEO he only ever hurt MS. The fact shares went up 8% on the news of his retirement speaks volumes.
It's funny how we never here anyone complain about the violence in books. I've read stuff that was so graphic, it would be unimaginable in games, tv or movies. And I'm not talking about obscure crap, I'm talking about high profile, well recieved best sellers! Yet, it's always games blah blah blah.
It used to be movies, with uk going so at as to ban a whole host of classic horror films. They were described as "video nasties".
Yes, there's is always someone that wants to do crazy shit, but that as nothing to do with games or tv or movies. Or even music, which has been used as an excuse in the past.
