I'm sitting here with my four year old laptop, which wasn't even good when I got it. I can't play many new games, but who the hell cares. At the moment I play Planescape Torment. I can also play Baldur's gate 1 and 2, Fallout 1 and 2, Icewind dale, Command and conquer series and red alert. GEnerals work barely. I can play Monkey Island and all other lucasarts adventure games and sierra. XCOM, dark forces series, return to castle wolfenstein. Not to mention Civilization. I can only play pre 2002 games, but I still have a lifetime's worth of it. The pc-game-library is what matters and it's huge and good.

How many pc-games need more than one DVD? Just wondering.

I can't pick one, so here's a list: Deus Ex, Fallout, Fallout 2, Baldur's Gate 2, Grim Fandango, StarCraft, WarCraft III, X-Com, Metal Gear Solid, Half Life 2, Heroes of Might and Magic 2, KotOR. So many great games. :)il-cattivo

Now there's a man with good taste.

TI've heard that the neverwinter nights-campaign was actually more of an afterthought. Originally they didn't want to include a big campaign at all.

What the fans will say(and I agree to a certain extent):

Fallout is a REAL roleplaying game, while Oblivion is far from it. Just hack and slash

with braindead quest with no choices.

Neverwinter nights 2. There was even an XP-pack just out. And soon well have a(15-20 hour I think) downloadable adventure pack called Mysteries of Westgate.

Baldur's gate 2. There's something to aspire to. How many hours(of fun) was it?

That they download it doesn't mean they aren't going to buy it. If I had a good computer could get Crysis a couple of weeks before I was supposed I'd gladly download it, but I'd also buy it when it came out.
