i've just recently gotten back into game. man i'm so out of the loop lol. but on topic:
i just bought my psp literally 4 days ago. mainly for crisis core, but like, i don't understand why the psp gets so much hate. even gaming stores don't have any good games in stock and the ones they do have are just stuck in the corner and neglected. but so far the must haves that i've found would be: Crisis Core:ffvii, Patapon, and Loco Roco.
Its good that they are getting rid of the components in the reviews, but changing to a .5 system is a bit lazy don't ya' think? There are either going to be a lot of 9.5/10 rated games because there is no longer a game going to get a 9.9, or an almost perfect score but something just messed it up. Or if someone is comparing games and one would normally be an 8.9 opposed to something that would normally be an 8.4 (granted I don't know ANYONE who trusts reviews enough to decide whether or not to get a game, but this is just for an example). Thats the only problem I have with this. But hopefully getting rid of the review components will give games more honest reviews.
1. Super Mario Brothers (NES)
2. Warcraft III (PC)
3. TES: Morrowind (PC) & LoZ: Ocarina of Time (N64)
Short on time, will edit this post later with my reasoning!
[QUOTE="TheCrazed420"]Games will still look great on an SDTV.AdolChristin
What's SDTV?
Standard Definition Television
But ya, go ahead and go next-gen. One of my friends has a mega old tv and his 360 still looks pretty good on it. Granted, you won't get the quality that you would normally get from HD but it would still be good. Although, some games (such as Gears of War) that are very detailed will be hard to make out exactly what is going on at times. IMO, go for next-gen (current-gen now, but w/e), considering past-gen production is pretty much stopping.
