@Xristophoros: They're mostly trying to mimic the Marvel superhero movies. Everything has to be the same, after all.

@Bread_or_Decide: It would be easier to take you seriously if you didn't need to be a jackass to everyone who likes things you don't.

@zerohournow: "not sure how was claiming Im not getting my own way"

You weren't. When people say, "I guess what I'm trying to say is", they are trying to explain something they previously said, but in a simpler manner. The only thing I previously said was in my first comment, which was directed at him. Therefore, my second comment was explaining my first comment to you. Thus, my statement was directed at him, not you. But you clearly don't have a good grasp on reading comprehension or vocabulary, so I'll chalk it up to good old fashioned ignorance on your part.

@zerohournow: I guess what I'm trying to say is don't be an ass because you don't always get your way.

Oh, and I'll just correct you. "Crime" is most commonly used to mean "illegal activity". If he was saying that they acted as though it was a crime of etiquette, then yes, I suppose they did. I don't understand why he would bother telling us the obvious, "they're acting like something happened that they don't think should've happened".

Rotten Tomatoes still has it rated more highly than The Boondock Saints, so I'm still in.

@spartanx169x: If I didn't respond to something, it was because it was factually correct. However, that doesn't mean I agreed. Something can be true, but that doesn't mean everyone things it's bad.

2. You misinterpreted that. It was his first battle, and the psychological conditioning didn't hold for him, that is all.

3. Yes, it might have been good for them to mention that. I believe it was mentioned in the novel. Nevertheless, he still didn't beat the trooper, I believe someone else came in and rescued Finn, who was about to lose.

5. Actually, there was a small hint. It is believed this will be brought up and explained in later movies, but I won't spoil it for you. Personally, I don't mind if they leave a bit of mystery for later movies. As for the lightsaber, it was clear that it had some connection to her, which would help.

6. Right, I forgot they explained this pretty well. He tried the whole "good guy" thing, then his son murdered the Jedi Academy, things fell apart with Leia, and he fell back to old habits. It's a common story.

9/Finn: Correct, he was no contest for Kylo. That is why Kylo was obviously testing him. I guess he should have said, "Hey guy, I'm just testing you because I don't fight against people with lightsabers very much". Watching the fight, it is very clear that Kylo had the upper hand the whole time -- Finn made a bad lunge, Kylo easily knocked it aside and just stood there rather than following up. As soon as Finn got a single lucky hit, Kylo did take him out in two swipes.

9/Rey: As I said before, he wasn't trying to beat Rey, so he didn't simply take her down immediately. Also, again, he didn't actually lose to her. She let the Force take over and she made a good comeback, but the only reason she got away is because the planet was falling apart and the fight ended. She didn't actually win, the fight ended prematurely. Had it not, it is very likely Kylo would've decided to fight her (which, again, he hadn't been).

@spartanx169x: 2. Finn never uses the Force. Rey doesn't wield the Force with great skill, and she may be trained (this is what GrayFOX786 is referring to).

3. Where did you hear that Finn had no lightsaber training? Also, I might remember incorrectly, but I don't recall him beating anyone with it.

5. We don't know if she had training in it. It's not crazy to think she had heard stories, and it did take her a few tries.

6. Some people never really change.

9. At this point, I'm not sure you even watched the movie. He did not get his butt kicked. He had already suffered a significant injury before the fight started, and injury that killed anyone else. He defeated one of the people he was fighting. He got into a bad position with the other, but only because he was trying to convert her, rather than defeat her. Had the fight not ended prematurely, there is a fair chance he would have won. If he didn't, it would only be because of the injury he had sustained before the fight.

10. It wasn't really the same weakness. One of them had a small exposed vent, and the other wasn't finished. Not being finished doesn't really count as a weakness, and certainly doesn't apply to this movie. They are similar in that they could be destroyed, but the structure they needed to take out in this one isn't nearly the same as the small target in the original movie.

11. Yeah, I guess some people would find this tough to figure out. Basically, the Republic in general doesn't want to be at war. However, they know the First Order is a threat. They secretly help the Resistance in order to reduce that threat without entering into open war. Classic politics.

@nurnberg: Actually, crimes usually involve jail time. Many would consider that much worse than someone being appalled at you.
