@Arkhalipso: Oh you must be new here. Yeah, every time there is an article mentioning female protagonists, a metric butt-load of people come by to say what you said. It is possibly the most commonly-held view here.

@MegaPyroFlame: They did say that the "gay conversion" was something they wanted to cut also. Considering "Nintendo hasn't explained how this aspect of the game has been changed", I'm not sure how you are "looking at what was specifically changed here" in order to disagree.
@RogerioFM: I haven't played it, so I could be wrong about this one, but it seems most things like this require you to buy into them. They tend to rely on the player wanting to be attached, rather than having a great ability to create that attachment themselves. Essentially, it only works if you do the work yourself.
