2) Depending on your PSU, if it is 450w and above with atleast 28a on the 12v rail, then you are fine.

SSJBen

I don't really know what's in my computer (because I bought it with all the parts installed), but I'm going to open my computer tomorrow to check it.

I'm just wonderingwhat it shouldsay on my PSU. I willprobably see how many watts it is, but I don't understand the rest of what you wrote.

Is the 8800GT 512MB a good card for its price or are there other cards for the same price that are better? How about the 256MB version? Do you lose any quality when playing new games like Crysison 1280*1024?

I currently have an Acer M5500 with a GeForce 8600GT. I would like to buy and install a 8800GT, but I still have several questions.

- My computer has Vista Premium preïnstalled and I am wondering wether Vista will accept a new grphics card or not.

- Will I have to change my Power Supply Unit?

- Will a PCIe2.0 card fit in my computer, because I think I have aPCI card.
