Really? Is it any less believable than Donkey Kong (or even DK Jr.) in a kart? I don't see what's wrong with the idea. I mean, imagine racing through a course based on Hyrule Castle!

Actually the Gamecube version was a port of the Playstation version. I'm not sure why they went that way, other than better fmv I guess. But this would be a good way to go instead of waiting to download it. Its probably not much more than $10 anyway. The only problem with that is that the game CAN be hard to come by. I really wanted to buy it back when RE4 came out, but I could never find it until recently, and I don't care anymore. I saw it used at Gamestop for $39.
I've always thought (and for once, plenty of people agree) that Mario Kart 64 was a mediocre game, and certainly the weakest in its illustrious family.
