I've heard there is going to be multiplayer but I can't confirm (runic's site is very slow today due to the launch I guess). Here's the wiki link with a little info.

So I looked around Gamespot and didn't see it mentioned so I thought I'd post it. Shadowbane is no more as of May 1.

Futureshop or Best Buy if you can't buy digital. I've noticed though that Empire Total War hasn't been on any shelves locally, not that that's a bad thing with it's bugs. All in all PC seems to be digital distribution heavy now, with GoG , D2D , Gamersgate , Steam , Impulse (to name a few) you'll never need to drive around looking for a game.

As far as a using a credit card is concerned, I've bought about 20 games from various sites without a problem and every online merchant nowadays realizes security means repeat customers(and new ones...and no lawsuits). Ask your Mom to call her CC company for info on online shopping, it's been around for a few years now and the CC companies will be able to provide good info.

Atlantica Online-I haven't played much, only like, three fights. It has turn-based, team-based combat. You play a character that hires mercs to be your partners. It's fun, but the turn clock is to short.

Phoenix534

I'm playing this now and it's pretty good, kind of a mix of Disciples style strategy and RPG. BTW you can slow down the battle speed in the Settings...I forget which tab.

To the OP - I usually direct people to mmorpg.com for info, as you can tell by the name that's their specialty.

I'm going to say Mafia as well, the story is familiar since it's similar to a lot of mobster films but it's production and presentation make it worth while.

The only recent one I can think of is for the DS, The World Ends With You. It takes place in modern day Japan and has a pretty high review score across the board. As far as PC goes I can't think of any except for the FPS games with some RPG elements like Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory for example.

Here's the link to the official mod forum, there's a few in there that work for 1.011/1.010.

System Shock 2, great blend of fps/rpg/horror/sci-fi. If you get your hands on it be sure to use the graphics mod...think it was called rebirth, I might be wrong though.

Plenty of other people don't like the game, so why not state opinions??That's why they're called "opinions".Vilot_Hero
Well, for me 'Don't Like' isn't really right. For me it's the fact it doesn't add more to the FPSs I'm already playing like; TF2, CoD4, Crysis, etc. So it doesn't give me any reason to leave the games I listed. Otherwise, based on the demo, it's a good game...co-op is good, physics too, but the hype machine seems to be turning out real zombies...fanboys. You aren't getting anything like a GOTY contender, it's fun and you'll play it abit but there are better fps out there. I won't be spending 45 or 50 dollars on it, for other readers try the demo first to see if you want to spend 45-50 dollars on it. TL;DR : good game but ignore the hype and try before you buy.
