yep, I wonder how many more games their are like this out there. Hopefully Devs start letting us know about these types of problems, otherwise you will be filling up your HDD and have a worse gameplay experience for it.POJO_MOFO

thankfully it takes seconds to delete one and like 10 minutes or so to install one ( which is nothing compared to them being 6-8GB)

PS3 VS XBOX 360 FALL LINEUP I NEVER MENTIONED ANYTHING ABOUT FULL YEAR AT ALL

Wow I am comparing the fall 2008 lineup of both consoles and I ONLY MENTIONED multiplats when one console had an advantage over the other

L4D is coming out for 360 NOT ps3 with more support by valve which they even said so

As you can see I didnt mention any japanese games since I know of none but wasnt there like 3 of them for xbox and 1 for ps3 but eitherway I didnt mention them.

Well every game so far has come out and been rated and lets match them up and see why the xbox 360 beats the PS3 this fall.

Ps3-

LBP= 9.0 and still not able to play with friends online

R2-9.0 FPS which is really good

Motorstorm 2- 8.0 which is good but Pure beats it in its own genre

Socom- Flopped badly with a 6.5 and with nearly unplayable online ( with no singleplayer mind you)

Xbox 360

Gears 2- 9.0 shooter same as R2

Fable 2- Action RPG which scored a 8.5 and is a full blown adventure game

L4D- Online co op game which scored a 8.5 which is still impressive for a FPS these days.

*Banjo*- Not scored yet but has 77% on Gamerankings.com

**Extra's **

Xbox 360 has the better version of Fallout 3, one of the best games this whole year by .5 since it can run it better and makes the xbox version AAA.

Ign gave Mirrors edge Ps3 version a better score by .1

Basicly it comes down to which do you like more R2+LBP or Gears 2+L4D+Fable 2 and if you like Fallout 3 and dont have a good PC.

EDIT- People read for once in your life its XBOX 360 FALL vs. PS3 FALL 2008 nohting to do with PC, nothing to do with full year 2008.

The thing is: that's what the monthly subscription fee is for.  It covers for a lot of things that don't get mentioned/aren't seen.

• High capacity servers
• Anti piracy
• Pushing developers to develop games online (although now it's the status quo)
• Exclusivity.  For those who haven't figured this out yet: There is a reason why some games are exclusive on 360.
• XBL Customer service (even though they suck, they still need to get paid)
• Infrastructure: How do they get partners to jump in the xbl bandwagon?  I'm not talking about just games, but movies as well.  Microsoft had to pay to get some deals done.

Some of you must think these things are free for pc games, but they're not.  The difference with pc games is that they get their money back by online advertisements on their websites.  Sure there are dedicated servers for some games, but that's thanks to the community themselves hosting them.

 I still think microsoft gets enough money to cover their costs to add dedicated servers to the mix.  Theoretically speaking, they haven't made a massive leap from last gen in terms of online offerings.

I agree on everything but I dont want my $50 goiong towards anti piracy bc I dont care for that, also about there support it has to suck I mean look how big the company is and its product generally has lots of people asking questions it woudl cost them A FORTUNE to have all american speakers

well I just checked that and theres nothing but what I thought the problem might be was maybe I have different versions or something?

im going crazy trying to find out how to list your generals/armies in one scroll

ok I can clearly remember doing it last summer when I played where there was a button you press and this scroll pops up showing all your armies and all your generals ALSO your cities and there populations and I CANT FIND THAT ANYWHERE

no way it takes 20 mintutes its 5 minutes TOPS.

Installing games to your HDD is such a sweet feature and doesnt take long at all considering games r ususally 6GB.

so easy to find all the arcade games, movies, trialers and such so its 100x better than the old.

Only thing I dont like is the friends list in the actual dashboard NOT THE ONE when you press guide that one is basicly the same

the number of ppl that mod there 360 is probably near the 10-15 thousand mark which is nothing to microsoft nor any publisher BUT microsoft is making it very hard and nerve wrecking for the modders to play live.

See what some people think there doing is uploading the torrents themselves because people just found out why they got banned the first time ( they thought bc they tried getting in the hlao 3 beta) but the truth was if you played a pirated crackdown and tried to get on h3 beta the xbox did not reconize what game you were playing or something alone those lines and thats how you got banned.
