Oh yeah, there's also the Warcraft movie being made by Legendary Pictures (same studio that did 300, Batman Begins, Dark Knight, etc.). But they don't even have a director attached yet, and there hasn't been any news that I'm aware of on the movie in over a year, I think. It's still going forward from what I understand, but Blizzard and LP are being very hush hush about it.

Funny, I've never heard of PS2's crashing anywhere near as much as 360s, and I know that Sony eventually fixed the problem. M$, on the other hand, just changed RROD to E74 to avoid warranty coverage, it seems.

Sony actually charged it's consumers to fix the PS2's issues, that didn't change until they were sued by the consumer, at least with microsoft it didn't reach up to that.
As far as i know the PS2's issues were only fixed once the PS2 slim was out, in other words 4 years after it's launch
uh, M$ was and is being sued by class action lawsuits. They still deny disc scratching, and they didn't extend the warranty for RROD until lawsuits and investigative journalism put pressure on them. And I really don't care about the PS2's DRE. I didn't own a PS2 back then, and the one I finally got is the sexy slim, which kicks all kinds of ass. But between PS3 and 360, the answer is clear as to who's doing the real milking, and it's definitely not the cows that are getting milked.
The screenwriter for the BioShock movie wrote the screenplays for Sweeney Todd, The Aviator and Gladiator. So that's a step in the right direction, at least.[QUOTE="lolfaqs"]
Gore Verbinski, director of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, is going to direct Bioshock, the movie. Len Wiseman, director of the Underworld movies and Live Free or Die Hard, is said to be working on a Gears of War movie, however, Wiseman's comments about the game made it sound like he's another clueless Hollywood director who doesn't care about staying true to the source material. But who knows, maybe one of these guys will make a good video game movie for the first time ever.

Nice, I didn't know that.
I did not like the first RE movie, but I liked the ones after the first one.

The first street fighter was great for the simple fact that it had the great Raul Julia as M. Bison. That and the fact that it knew it was going to be a camp movie and didn't try to be anything else is what makes it great, IMO. I agree that Silent Hill was a good movie too.
congratulations, you have just described sony and the PS2 last gen

I never owned a PS2 until last weekend when I finally got a slim for $99. It's so cute! ^.^
What does this have to do with the 360 though?
[QUOTE="lolfaqs"]if you're so happy with it, why do you feel the need to constantly bash the 360 ?I agree, TC. For that reason, when I finally got into this gen of gaming back in December, it didn't take a lot of research for me to decide on the PS3 and avoid the 360 like the plague. About 4 months later, and I couldn't be happier with the PS3. This is true HD gaming.

Because it's pretty sad gaming has sunk to the level of the 360 where gamers are happy to let a company milk them to death with shoddy hardware.
