it depends on thpe of game you are talking about. As for Sims 2, the only online feature that has is the forums and the exchange. You can still play the Sims 2 with the features that was mentioned. The same can be said about the other games as well. This not the only company that retires it's online features, the only drawback to this the absence of LAN play. Games do not last forever and that is something I have accepted. You can't play most games published in the 80's or even in the early ninties without certain programs such as DOSBOX, etc. As far punishing, I see no need for any punishing.
The game looks good and all but some of the posters make a valid point. If EA decides they need the server space and decides to shut down the server that is supplementing the program, what happens to the customers who still want to play, if they shut down the servers we can no longer access the our game unless they provide a patch and there is no guarantee they will do that.
You never know, you might see him again down the road if EA maintains the ME franchise. They just probably semi-retired him and them after a few more ME releases he shows up almost to everybody's surprise.
@Bgrngod I agree, but there is a statement about it when you go to the the DLC but you have to scroll all the way to the right. Do not know if they put the warnimg on the purchase page which would be appropriate.
Hell yeah, I can play on the high performance side on one of my computers and recommended on my other two. Now all I have to do is wait for the reviews.
Even if you think it was stolen, what you think they can do? Exactly nothing being it is not thier game. Also if they did lift some ideas form the community I am quite sure the Modding community would be grateful for without Skyrim, there would be no mods and the Modding community do not own any rights to Skyrim.
