Even if it did I wouldn't even care. Halo has got to be the most overrated game of all time, and thanks to call of duty I don't think most people even care about it anymore.
If the cart is really bad and the q tip method don't work you can use a 3.8MM nes gamebit to open the cart and clean the contacts with a soft white eraser although I wouldn't do this repeatedly though. If that ain't the problem than it's your internal 72 Pin Connector, the nes has a flaw that the internal pins overtime can bend and move out of place from repeated pressure from pressing down on the carts. There's replacements available on amazon but it takes a bit of technical knowledge to install
Physical copies definitely, for me I like the sense of knowing that my favorite games that I paid for will actually exist 15 20 years latter unlike dlc that you'll only own as long as your hard drive [with all it constantly moving parts] continues to function. Eventually the industry will shift to download distribution only and we'll just have to deal.
The PS2 sold over 150 million units so you do don't ever need to worry about not finding one. 30 years from now there still be more of them than people will know what to do with.
