As far as using the Virtual Console service to bring classic games to the Wii, I think three titles should be brought: The original Super Smash Bros because, well, its the original, Super Mario All Stars for the classic compiliation of games (should be for 2000 Wii points becuse it contains so many great games, maybe 2500), and GoldenEye 64, because though I've never played it, I hear it is easily the greatest first perrson shooter ever, and that the multiplayer is deemed a legendary, overall amazing experience.

What video games of yore satisfyed your gaming hunger? Was it Nintendo and the Mario Bros, or Sega and the Sonic Team? I like Mario, but i know saying so is going to spark an awesome arguement. Let the passionate ranting begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing really. Masterfully crafted gameplay, superb, fully orchestrated sound, non-existent learning curve, majestic level design, the most artistic graphics of all time in any game. Yup, nothing. No biggy though.:D:D:D:D:D:lol::):D

I know i will recieve hate mail for this, but I actually considered selling my PSP the other day. Why? It seems that though not much seems to be coming out of it, Sony is neglecting its portable moneymaker to promote its high end PS3, unlike Nintendo, which doesn't seem to play favorites when doling out great games to its systems, the Wii and DS. I happen to have both a PSP and a DS, and while some may IMO falsely argue that this because the DS has some backwards compatibility, I feel that when looking at the majority of the PSP library, you can see a general lack of quality in comparison to the DS. Yes, classics from the PS2 era like GTA, Burnout, and Tekken have been revived with excellent results, and the system's graphical capability is stunning for a portable, but when you look at how much the PSP relys on its extraneous, generally lackluster features and how much the DS just doesn't have to, you can see a trend of Sony coming in second. Let me show you some examples:

The PSP is not short of racers, and many like the Burnout games are decent. However, if you compare the many soso racers to the DS masterpieces like the fully online Mario Kart DS, the PSP titles don't compare.

When it comes to great, or even good platformers on the PSP, you get 4. Daxter, Patapon, Secret Agent Clank, and perhaps Lego Indiana Jones. The first and best ones got only a 9 and a 9.1 on Gamespot, which is relatively low for being the best game on the system. Then you have Indy and Clank, both only having scored 8 of 10's. The DS however has 2 amazing platformers; Yoshis Island and New Super Mario Bros. And that's only if your a stickler for games that score 9 of 10 and above. Games like Castlevania, Kirby, Sonic Rush, and March of the Minis all provided respectable, fun, platforming experiences. Super Mario 64 DS really pushed the 64 bit DS to its graphical limit, and even a movie based game, that's right, movie based, Spiderman 3, got an 8 of 10 on the DS. Some might say that most of the DS platformers didn't score much higher than the PSP ones, but the general abundance of good ones on the DS and lack on the PSP supports my case.

There's more that I could tell you, but you probably understand by now. I feel that if Sony doesn't shape up soon, Nintendo's going to end up winning the portable console war with the DS as well as the stationary one with the Wii. Please reply with your opinion. Come on Sony, don't throw in the towel!

ok, i think carl's avatar should change:lol:, but that's besides the point. first of all i would be mortified if the big title turns out to be Animal Crossing Wii; it's just not big enough or cool enough. Mario in space was cool. That's what Nintendo needs to repeat. Plus, I would like to ask Willy105 where he got that info on a Donkey Kong 64 sequel for the Wii. Though I imagine that Nintendo will announce another title altogether at E3, if that info you got was true, than Willie my friend you have me interested! Please post the url or name of the source of this information if possible.

I hope that a lot of info on Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Wii is released. That is looking like it could turn into one of my favorite games ever.

definitley the Super Mario 64 theme song. Its so upbeat, works perfectly with wacky platforming like Mario games, and it doesn't hurt that it's paired with one of the greatest and most innovative video games in history.

i think that if it is a Zelda game it will come out around Winter 08. Twilight Princess first released about 2 years ago, and it only took porting the code and playing around a bit for Nintendo to bring it to the Wii. Plus Nintendo releases info on games only months before they go on sale. Thus, in response to wayne, I think you can expect your new Zelda fix much sooner than 2-3 years down the line. Mario Party 9 might come out, but that is basically a collection of mini games, which is probably easy to make and thus won't be the 2-3 years in the making title Reggie was talking about. Plus it doesn't exactly maximize on key franchises; it just uses them to make money off casual players.

wow, practically everyone here is either an Xbot or a PS3 fanboy. My top 5 is very different than most posted.

1. Super Mario Galaxy

2.Super Smash Bros Brawl

3. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

4. Mario Kart Wii

5. Twilight Princess (Wii edition)

I have 1 runner-up : Halo 3 (for the multiplayer customization)
