@angrycreep: I wouldn't play the pro version. I'd have it set at a native 1080p just like the regular ps4. Can't stand the checker board fuzziness.

1080p looks better imo.

@Sevenizz: my ps4 friends couldn't even watch the video. I asked if they saw it and they just reply " nope, everything's better on ps4."

I try to explain that games stopped being better on ps4 over a year ago and they just say "nope ps4 sells more."

They just want to win I guess. They dont like losing. Or they can't accept losing to xbox over resolution. Since they just spent 3 years stating how resolution makes for better games.

@onehitta323: you do realize that the pro uses the checker board technique. Not only that but one of the worst implementated cb rendering ever displayed on the pro. Its horrible and totally destroys the texture quality on the ps4 pro. The ps4 native 1080p version is the best ps4 version available. The pro version is an embarrassment and rockstar should made it a native 1440p instead of listening to sony and forcing 4

I bet you're like most ps4 players and didn't watch the video because you dont want to face the truth face to face. You dont want to know how much better or exactly how much worst your 3rd party games are compared to those xbots.

@onehitta323: 860p is closer to 1080p than the pro is to the x pixel count.

The framerates on the 800p machine are better than on ps4.

Resolution is all the launch ps4 has. That gets destroyed by the xbox one x.

@jako998: because some people like the original ps4 more than the pro or slim. To some the pro is too loud and hot for the small amount of boost when compared to the launch ps4.

To some they would rather use an optical cable for their audio.

The slim is known as a downgrade to the launch and the pro is too weak to justify an upgrade. Especially when none of the exclusives hit 4k. That's why because the demand for the ps4 launch console is way more than the old VCR xbox. No one that buys an xbox wants that one unless they want a console that looks like an old sony blu ray player. They all want the slim or x. Plus used ps4 sell like hotcakes. If they didn't sell used consoles. The ps4 would be closer to outselling the ps2.

@onehitta323: I would definitely trade in just to play the best possible version of Red Dead 2. Especially if I bought my pro just for 4k.

The best version of the best game of the generation is enough for me.

I'd upgrade graphics cards if I needed to just to play rdr2 the best possible way.

Some gamers care more about the games than the console they play on.

That's why I play most on PC and xbox.

@ButDuuude: I have a pro that I'd like to trade for a slim.

The slim looks much nicer and is dead quiet. The boost in resolution on the pro really isn't that great. It makes everything look better but I'm getting tired of the loud ass fan.

Wish they made a slim quiet version of the pro or just upgraded the pro to be able to do 4k if it's going to be that loud.

Those people would be sane if they traded in for a console that will run their 3rd party games best.

Why would a sane person not play on the best hardware. Especially if you arent into cartoons, Disney, and Japanese games. If you just want to play the best selling games then the x is the way to go. If you want niche games then the ps4 is the best for variety.

I dont know why a sane person would choose to play online on psn,but millions of people do it every day.

I just dont like they talked trash about paying to play online last gen then they charge us, then they charge us more. For a service that's still slow and Inferior to PC online. No thanks I'd rather game PC online. Offline is a different story for sony. Only ones that can compete with sony offline is nintendo.

@deviltaz35: I'm pretty sure they said native but that doesn't matter. They will look great on any platform. Even the launch xbox.

I was just taking a jab at the "dynamic 4k isnt 4k" people. Now ps4 pro is advertising 4k but no fan boy is claiming that it is not. Just ironic.
