When does RSC3 come out? 

You can get a 50" 720p Toshiba DLP for $ 780 model #50hm66

Or a 46" Toshiba DLP for $679 model # 46hm95

Or a 32" Samsung LCD 1366x768 4000:1 contrast ratio.  model # LNS3251D for $780 at pricemad.com 

It's not all about Resolution.  To me,  a 60" Pioneer Plasma 6070HD with 1365x768 resolution  has better PQ then a 60" 1080p XBR2 SXRD.

How far are you going to be sitting from the TV?  Distance from the screen to your eyes

Actualley,  the AOC is 1024x768 and the Akai is 1024x1024.

PCworld.com gave the AOC a horrible review.

Try DVI instead of component,  see if that makes a difference..
