Avatar did look good but game developers wont spend millions of dollars for special effects

Gamespot gives exactly 1/3 of the new selling price:

Spiderman 3 is $10 new, so youll get $3. Saints Row is $20, youll get $7. i dont know about naruto becasue its not listed on their website.

I recently saw a Toys R Us ad, and it said you can now trade in used games for gift cards. Does anyone have any experience with this new trade offer? How much do they give back, and is it a better deal than gamestop?

I am writting a comparitive essay on two institutions for my english class (college class). I need to institutions to compare/contrast to write my essay on.
