Thats what im worried about, theres going to be so many pokemon i dont know. I could run across a lengendary and not even know it, i could miss the chance of having great pokemon simply because i do not know what they are.

Legendaries will either have sprites or battle themes separate from the average battle theme (pokemon you'd find in the grass)

Also, I didn't learn of most of the pokemon in the game until my first play through (I think it's like that for most people, doesn't the game come out before the pokemon season for that region? I think I remember sapphire and ruby coming out before the hoenn region season on tv)

I'm just not into games like grand theft auto..I don't think I like anything other than fantasy.

I use guides on almost all of my games so I don't end up doing something stupid like going back and forth or go around in circles. Sometimes I have trouble beating bosses, so I use online walkthoughs for that, also.

I was at gamestop the other day and picked up this new valkyrie profile game ('cause everyone seemed to have been talking about it, so I assumed it was a good game) and I knew that pokemon platinum would be out just a couple days later, but I'm just impatient like that sometimes

so this is what I'm wondering, was that a dumb idea?

Probably $10 - $15 in store credit. But you know what would be a better idea, just call the store and ask them. They will know the definite answer. ;)
