are you a mod's alt account? Not making fun of anybody. Just baffled as to why fanboys immediately flame any who disagree or have a different opinion on blizzard's policies, hard to take fanboys seriously when posters like daniel dust and revenant42 keep screaming about how wrong you are, and how you must be a certain type of gamer to be smart enough to understand blizzard's game or policies.

When people are expresssing their dislike of the recent blizzard policies, you sure can bet on those two shoving their "facts" all over the place. Not one single civil discussion. Sying things like "lan is obsolete" and "no one plays diablo offline", begs the question, Who are you to tell people how to play their games?

It''s like anyone who isn't expressing undying love for blizzard's policies is commiting some unforgivable sin. The only biggest diff (to me) between ubi and blizzard regarding their drm is blizzard's pr and damage control is a whole lot better than ubi.

SO whether or not I get modded, makes no real diff to me. sO YEAH, THAT'S JUST LIKE............MY OPINION MAN.

You know why it's online only? It's really simple: They want people to use the cash shop.

Is DRM an issue? Yeah, but I promise you this game will be cracked within a week either way. And the pirates will be playing the superior version.

Also, what the hell is up with the art direction? Somehow they've taken the blood spattered confines of hell from the earlier games, and turned them into a cartoon show for 12 year old audiences.

seriously what kind of stupid statement is that?

Don't forget Path of Exile, which is 100% free for the full content of the game (single and multi), they only way the devs get support is with ethical microtransactions (silly stuff like unique animations, like the Team fortress 2 hats, only no buffs).

Just look at this game, they should call this Diablo III... (still can't believe me eyes, the art is amazing)

wow! that's what I 'm talking about! This is what I expected diablo 3 to look like, not the cartoony art it is now!

So I guess that's it then, it's Grim Dawn, Torchlight 2 and Path of Exile for me. :D

And before the blizzard rabid defense force starts flaming, I think diablo 3 will be great, but I am not digging the drm and stupid auction house, so I am passing on the game. Blizzard aint paying me to be a fanboy to defend all their crap. (plus I never touched the online component of D1, D2. Don't really give a flying 'you know what')

Sometimes I marvel at the hypocrisy of my fellow pc gamers. The next time an anti pc thread pops up, the blizzard defence force will be among the first to spew the usual :

1- pc gaming is great because you can mod your favorite games. If you don't like something, just mod it.

2- We have a lot more freedom and control over our games

3-devs like blizzard cares for pc gamers and everything they do is for the best. They are not like activision who milks their customers

4-down with ubisoft and their crappy drm. Why can't I play a single player game offline!
