At this point what does it matter? Activision made their 500 million back in 24 hours and learned something about Bungie. They learned that the best part of Bungie is now called 343, and they cannot have access to their services. Nope, that's Microsoft's territory. The worst part of this is for "Bungie" whose reputation has taken the biggest hit since their inception. Activision might reconsider their stock in them at some point. 74 metacritic games' aren't thought of favorably by publishers.
You can easily tell what kind of gamer someone is by how easily, or not, their expectations are satisfied. My expectations are more demanding than anyone calling this repeat-a-thon a "great game. Don't worry, Halo will be here soon to bitch slap Destiny in line- then all this mess will be forgotten.
@saturatedbutter @dragon7867 Jeff is the man. He says it like it is and I appreciate it. You always need a devil for every angel to get to the truth. He's a harsh critic, but these games aren't cheap and I don't pay for average to sub-par products.
Journalistic integrity at its finest. It feels good that I can trust Gamespot again. They have learned a lot since 2008. Game of Kane and Lynch anyone?
I was trying to hold out for the Sunset Overdrive Bundle, but my patience collapsed today and I bought an X1. These themed consoles are nice, but let's face it, if you want to make your console original- go buy a skin. I'm getting a high quality one-thinking blue and white carbon to match my Star Wars 360. Even more so, just wait until the chassis for these speciality console's start getting sold on ebay for $100.00. I've probably case modded near every console I've ever owned. I'd love to get my hands on a Spartan Green Halo 5 chassis. Only think special about this one is the HDD. Aesthetically..meh. Lastly, doesn't this iteration of COD remind of Titanfall without mechs? Was Titanfall some kind of COD experiment?
