just cuz its an HD cable box does not mean that all channels are displayed in HD

they still broadcast the regular channels the most with HD alternatives

one day it will be the other way around though, HD primary with SD alternatives

dstryr13
yeah, and also even if it was an hd channel not everything is shot in hd. so older stuff still looks crappy

[QUOTE="queenster08"]Sorry that you are the one of the less than 1% failure rate. Unless you are a troll?TheSystemLord1

This needs to stop.

There is far more than a 1% failure rate on the PS3, countless people are reporting disc drive failures each day. This is one of the only 20/60gb generation failures I've read about...that 1% failure rate was based on the 20gb/60gb machines, the 40gb/80gb have MUCH higher than 1%. Not only are people in these forums having problems, but friends of mine in real life have had the exact same thing on their 80gb (I don't know any 40gb owners).

The PS3 isn't invincible, and by the looks of things will have its own set of problems this generation...

So stop screaming troll every time someone comes on here for help.

so true, i guess its just hard for some people to admit the ps3 isn't perfect. like i said earlier i checked other forums to see if there was a quick fix or that maybe i was doing something wrong. and it really surprised me to see that alot of other people had the same problem. and i don't think you need any paper work, when you buy it, it registers your purchase date with sony

same thing happened to my brother's and mine. his broke after a week mine broke after playing a couple hours. I did a google search and it looks like its not that uncommon. and if your out of warrenty it costs 150 to fix. good thing I was able to take it back to the store I got it from and exchanged it.

no but I am getting tired of the story. TP was so predicitable. They need some better story structures. No more 3 early dungens and then Ganondof shows up and ruins your plans. I saw that coming a million miles away.chansaet
yeah your right it is the same thing over and over. but i'm not tired of the zelda games. can't wait for the next one

some systems support optical wire whichis a nicer clearer sound than the av wires. next to where you plug in the red and white cables, is a small square like opening, thats where you plug it in
