delete your saved files for the game. i think is somewhere in "my documents" and then reinstall again.

I will only talk about the 2009 games dirt 2 and nfs shift. i havent played grid recently so i will not mention it. but this doesnt mean anything. the game still rocks.

Dirt 2 is a good looking game with nice controls and offers fun online races. the problem with this game is the presentation which is not serious and of course the bigest problem is repetitive tracks. there are approximately8 locations and you play the same tracks for these locations again and again which gets repetitive and boring.

nfs shift is a more serious game but it is designedfor cockpit view. so if you like to drive in cockpit its a nice game. the graphics are cool and i love the control which is amazing. the problem is that looking from 3rd person perspective (behind the car)the game loses some ofits sharpness. it is really designed for driving in cockpit.

multiplayer i prefer dirt 2. presentation i prefer nfs but both games are excellent and you will have some real fun. overall rating for me its 9.0 for both
