I notice so many series are going down the drain or at least are not nearly as great as they used to be. Id like to pull up a few series that are now quick cash ins but could really turn around.

they make it into an actual platformer like how the original one was planned. I saw that trailer 3 years ago, and those nintendo power screenshots and it looked so cool. Granted i happily own a few of the rabbids games but with the new motion plus coming out, i think they should make a unique platformer rather than more minigames.

Would youl like another mario party if...

They wait till the next console and provide a huge amount of content. Maybe 15 new boards rather than 6, maybe make it an anniversery collection with all the best boards from the past 8, make DK playable again! Plus if they wait till the next generation, online play would be possible no doubt.

Actually i bring this up beacsue it has been made official today that Mario and sonic will compete in the winter olympic games in 2010.

After a mediocore 18th birthday due to the fact that it was overpowered by the superbowl. I got alot done with my games, nothing is coming out for february really so i had time to catch up with games. I got some things done that im quite proud of

Beat gears of war 2 on INSANE difficulty
Beat Braid
Reached 10,000MP points in mario party ds
Reached over 7000 xbox live points ( which is good considering i only have like 8 games)
Got all of the snowman furniture in animal crossing ( 1st time completing that series)
Got through sonic unleashed 360's eggman land without dying.

and my personal favorite is finally beating forza motorsport 2 cause that game was loooooong.

I hope everyone is having fun with there games, 2009 looks like its gonna be a good year.

So i learned that banjo tooie will not come to xbox live till april. With that being said i had 1200 points to spare so i got Braid. ITs an independent 2-D puzzle platformer, basically its like a super mario game but throw in prince of persia's time controling mechanic. IT works greats, the puzzles are clever, the graphics are beauitiful, and for those who dont like frustration its a game you cant die because of the time mechanic.

Also i plan on getting elebits on the ds, if anyone has it id like to know how good it is. Thank you

If you believe wikipedia we are currently in the 7th generation of gaming. With all 3 systems being out now for about 2 ½ years ( more like 3 for xbox) We begin wondering what the next generation will bring. Lets start with Nintendo

The wii is the most unique in demographic but it lost out on a lot of other features. All we know by a tiny announcement is that the next wii will have HD graphics ( making people call it the WII HD) Id like it to have a few catch ups. Add a DVD player, a hardrive, a music player, and to make some of the peripherals come with the system. By the way its interesting to know that the wii speak can use head phones making it like the headsets from others consoles.

The Xbox seems to be the middle man of the 3 systems. The only think I can assume the next one will have is blue ray, better online since its built by Microsoft, and a larger number at the end of its name ( xbox 540 or 720 anyone?)

Last but not least is what we already know is gonna be called playstation 4. Since its already a fact that gaming generations are getting further apart ( its said the next systems wont arrive until 2012) its hard to think of what else the playstation can have. Its still ahead of its time since barely anyone owns or even wants blu-ray, maybe they can take out a few things instead, I don't ever want to see another game that has to install itself before u can play it.

Well that's my 2 cents on the next gen, im also left wondering what the next step in portable systems will be. What do you think?

Theyre 2 ways to completing game: Finishing the story mode/ main quest, and then theres finding,completing, and unlocking everythign 100%. That is a completionist. How many games have you completed 100%? I try to complete every single game i own 100% which is why im still playing all 8 from the holidays. Sometimes its good to play a game 100% cause then when your done you dont have to wait as long for the next game you want to come out. Here are some of the things i have to do

Find all item boxes in sonic unleashed ( wii version)
Complete the arena mode with all helpers ( Kirby superstar ultra)
Find all rings, chao eggs, and quests ( Sonic chronicles the dark brother hood)
Complete all missions and find all treasure ( wario land shake it)

Also for any xbox game, the term completionist can be considered " achievement whore" as i have been called that for actually getting 1000 points in some of the games.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

I like to start off by saying that this is gonna be an awesome year for me and for games. (I turn 18 and graduate this year). As for games, Great titles like Resident Evil 5,Tekken 6, and another halo but i think this could be the year for the wii. Nintendo seems to be making up for its casual appearence in 2008 by appealing not just to the hardcore but to hardcore veterans. 2 very old series being revived and with the wii motion plus, our actions will no longer be JUST WAGGLING. Best of all 3rd party developers are kicking it up a notch too. The conduit and madworld both look fantastic, finally some M rated games this system deserves!

1st off i hope you all had a great christmas. I know i did, i got cash, a new camera and a few games and with the cash i bought a few more games. IM trying to play 7 or 8 games at once now but id like also have a little online activity.

At last my christmas break begins, i am now free until january 5th. Im getting really excited for christmas, in fact i already know one of my gifts. IM getting animal crossing city folk WITH the wii speak. I look forward to communicating with you guys, visiting your towns, buying auction items to help you out with a few bells. By the way i downloaded sin and punishment, it is an awesome game. If you have 1200 points id definitly pick it up, its got some much action going at once. I also beat banjo kazooie nuts and bolts perfectly ( all 131 jiggies, all notes, all parts etc)....for the 2nd time so now i have all 1000 achievement points too. What a great way to start this break and happy Holidays everone! :)
