@The-Neon-Seal What I like about British shows especially on the BBC is it seems like they are made to be short, so they will usually reach their conclusion.

I stopped investing time up front on American SciFi shows because either the show is bad, or really good but no one is watching at the set time the network wants them to, so it gets cancelled.

I usually wait until the second season to start a SciFi show. I've been burned too many times after getting invested in the show, then it being cancelled.

Falling Skies is in its 3rd season I think, and I just started watching it. I really enjoy that show.

Maybe Netflix will give Firefly the Arrested Development treatment...
